La logica di quello che nei fatti è un aberrante dumping di vite umane sembra essere: ne colpisci uno, ne educhi cento, mille, meglio sarebbe dieci o ventimila, tanti sono i morti ogni anno. Sono i nuovi "desaparecidos del Mediterraneo", in fuga da guerre, catastrofi ecologiche e miseria. Non si tratta di difendere le frontiere, o di regolare i flussi di una catastrofe umanitaria, ma di ristabilire un diritto sancito dalla Carta Universale dei Diritti dell'Uomo. Il diritto fondamentale di ogni essere umano di muoversi dal proprio paese in guerra per cercare rifugio, il diritto di aspirare ad un futuro migliore per sé e per la propria famiglia, il diritto ad un lavoro dignitoso che garantisca la propria sopravvivenza e dei propri figli. Per questo chiediamo che emerga la verità su ciò che sta avvenendo nel Mediterraneo, sulle responsabilità e le mancanze della comunità internazionale. Human, Right?
The logic of what is in fact a dumping of lives, seems to be: you hit one, to educates hundreds, thousands, ten or twenty thousand, would be better, there are so many deaths each year. They are the new "Desaparecidos of Mediterranean", fleeing wars, ecological disasters and misery. This is not defend frontiers, or regulate the flow of a humanitarian catastrophe, but to restore a right guaranteed by the Charter of Human Rights. The fundamental right of every human being to move from one country in war to seek safety, the right to aspire a better future for themselves and their families, the right of decent work that ensures their survival and their children. Urge that emerges the truth about what is happening in the Mediterranean, the responsibilities and the failures of the international community. Human, Right?
