The idea to create a peer-to-peer WiFi network, formed by "hotspots" that unites "the men of the sea" and where users are also authors, can be done with the technology based on IPv6 protocol, which makes it possible to assigning a greater number, than the previous static IPV4, addresses. This technology, which use 5GHertz bands and simple directional antennas, allows the connection to the network with any device (phones, computers, etc...) regardless of their nature and the ability to reach long distances. The cheapness and ease of achieving such a network, can provide numerous advantages and specific communications at sea, without wanting to institutional change. So, the network, can be configured as a real "communication channel" of information; an online news theme, and the content, as well as proposed by the editorial staff, can be inserted and/or extended by users with information, insights and updates. Vocation news channel, devoted mainly to news, does not exclude the possibility of including special events and personal sightings, linked to life on board or "stories" that only sailors know and that is part of theirs culture.
